- 35th Annual Winter Art Show
The Art Show is over for another year
Thank you to everyone who has helped to make our Art Show another success.
Thank you to our prize sponsors and catalogue sponsors. Thank you to everyone who visited over the weekend and thank you to all of our wonderful artists. This year's work was of an especially high standard. A really special thank you to the members of the Brigade who have worked hard for months to make sure this show went ahead and to those who also helped out over the weekend making amazing scones, helping n the kitchen, selling paintings, catalogues and raffle tickets and generally being indispensable.
The Art Show is conducted over the Queen's Birthday long weekend each June and is the Brigade's major fundraising activity. Our show attracts around 350 entries each year and all are available for sale. Entries are received from artists both local and not quite so local. We often have some entries from interstate and the work exhibited is generally of a very high quality.
This award is presented to the best traditional work of art in the show. It is open to any medium and honours Jack Montgomery.
