The Fire Danger Period for the municipality of Yarra Ranges (those portions not included in the Metropolitan Fire District) will conclude at 0100 hours on 1st May, 2018.The conclusion of the Fire Danger Period is based on the change in local fire risk conditions.

Burning off grass, stubble, weeds, undergrowth or other vegetation is generally permitted outside the Fire Danger Periodlocal laws on burn-offs can apply year-round.
