Congratulations to Ted Heron on 65 Years of service

We would like to congratulate Ted Heron on this amazing achievement.

Ted has been an active member of the Belgrave Fire Brigade for 65 years and has served the community of Belgrave in many different capacities during this time.

Ted has fought many major fires in the Dandenong Ranges including Ash Wednesday and Black Saturday. He was one of the founding members of our Annual Winter Art Show which celebrated 35 years of fundraising for the Brigade this year,

Ted has educated, and protected the community of Belgrave to the highest standard and so to say thank you and to acknowledge this tremendous contribution, the members of the Brigade have named our new tanker in his honour.

In this way, we know that Ted will be with us as we serve our community for many, many more years to come.
